Over the past few weeks, Haulotte has stepped up its initiatives in China to strengthen its local presence and develop collaborations with both institutional stakeholders and industry professionals.
In Shanghai, Damien Gautier (Managing Director APAC & Middle East) and Roy BA (General Manager Haulotte Shanghai), accompanied by Li Zhang (YEG Group), met with the authorities of the Minhang and Yangpu districts. These discussions helped identify opportunities for cooperation around industrial development, technological innovation and urban renewal projects. Haulotte highlighted its expertise in safe access solutions, in line with the growing needs associated with complex and high-requirement working environments.
In a complementary approach, the Haulotte China teams also held institutional meetings in Beijing with the China International Contractors Association (CHINCA) and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME). Discussions focused on the integration of Haulotte solutions into international infrastructure projects, as well as on the internationalisation of equipment and safety standards. These exchanges pave the way for future collaborations with Chinese companies involved in projects abroad.
Finally, in Guangzhou, Haulotte China took part in the anniversary conference of the AWP Rental Association as a sponsor and the only foreign manufacturer present. On this occasion, Roy BA highlighted Haulotte’s overall value proposition for rental companies: equipment reliability, optimisation of operating costs and long-term asset value, particularly through strong liquidity on the second-hand market.
Through these various initiatives, Haulotte confirms its intention to establish a long-term presence within the Chinese ecosystem, combining technological expertise, local proximity and close collaboration with key market players and institutions.
